Could you apply for a £6,000 education scholarship?

Cochlear UK invites Baha System Implant recipients to apply for the prestigious Anders Tjellström Scholarship Award.

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity. (One prize winner).

The scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic achievement and a demonstrated commitment to the Cochlear ideals of leadership and humanity and is open to UK Cochlear Baha implant recipients who are:

  • currently completing their final year of school or sixth form college and who have been accepted onto a university or other tertiary education course;
  • mature students who have been accepted onto a university or other tertiary education course;
  • students currently undertaking a university degree or other tertiary education;
  • studying for a minimum of 2 years.

Please note: The applicant must be a UK resident and implanted at a UK implant centre.

Baha inventor Dr Anders Tjellström says:

“The sponsorship is a wonderful opportunity to help Baha recipients by supporting them financially when they continue their education. It also highlights how lives are enhanced through access to Cochlear implantable hearing solution technology, with the help of health care professionals.”

Deadline for applications is 10th January 2015. The winner will be announced in April 2015!
